Did you know?
The S. pedo is breeding by tetraploid parthenogenesis, which means that no male is involved in producing the next generation. For many years a male species has been searched and never found. Until 2005 or 2006 in Switzerland where one species was photographed. The male found is not important for the S. pedo species survival. It's more like a genetic mishap.
